About Jonathan Epstein
Jonathan Epstein, MEMS, NREMT-P, Vice Chair, American Red Cross Advisory Council on First Aid, Aquatics, Safety and Preparedness. Jonathan Epstein earned his Master's degree in Emergency Medical Services at Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in May 1993. He currently is the Executive Director of North East Emergency Medical Services, Inc., the Massachusetts Region III EMS Council. With a special interest in EMS training, and System Planning, Mr. Epstein has served in a variety of capacities as an instructor, training coordinator and consultant to a diverse constituency in the for-profit, non-profit and public sectors. In addition to his EMS role, Jonathan is an active participant in hospital preparedness efforts as well as homeland security initiatives within Massachusetts. As a paramedic, he has a keen interest in issues regarding resuscitation and automated external defibrillators (AEDs).
